Northern Beaches Hospital opened in October 2018 and is a fully licensed private hospital, providing care to both public and private patients. Northern Beaches Hospital is an outstanding new facility located in Frenchs Forest, offering a large range of quality services provided by exceptional nurses, doctors, allied health and non-clinical staff.

 

The Administration Manager needs to be a leader who is an integral member of the hospital management team to ensure a high standard of administration service delivery and outcomes within budget that comply with relevant legislation and care standards. The Administration Manager partners with the Executive Management Team to provide a smooth and profitable operation by driving revenue and managing costs whilst maintaining a hospital culture based on high quality patient care and exceptional customer service. This position reports to the Director of Finance of the Northern Beaches Hospital.

  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills as well as an ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.
  • Willingness and ability to learn and complete new tasks and the flexibility to embrace change.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within the scope of the role.
  • Proven ability to consistently achieve key result areas for a department, by providing effective leadership and supervision of large teams (>10 FTEs).

  • Professional and pleasant demeanor.
  • Ability to develop positive relationships with a diverse range of people, both internal and external.
  • Problem solving and conflict management skills 

  • Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office, Email, and webPAS patient software knowledge preferred)
