Are you an experienced Disability Support Worker looking to step into a rewarding role that allows you to combine your professional skill and passion for patient care?


An exciting opportunity has become available in Shepparton for suitable candidates to provide individualised care and support to clients in our residential house and Attendant Care Service team.


As a Disability Support Worker at Healthscope Independence Services Shepparton your responsibilities will include:  

  • Providing personal care such as showering, dressing and grooming to patients
  • Assist with provision of medication
  • Assist with domestic tasks such as cooking, household cleaning and laundry
  • Provide social and transportation support including driving patients to medical appointments and assisting with grocery shopping

Candidate must be able to work varied shifts over a 24 hour period, 7 days per week with varying shift hours.



Healthscope Independence Services provides quality disability support services including supported accommodation, personal care and attendant care services to adults living with disabilities resulting from acquired brain injury (ABI) or other complex conditions. Shepparton is an 8 bedroom house offering personal care, assistance with daily living tasks, attending appointments and accessing the community for permanent residents and respite clients


Selection Criteria:

  • Certificate III or IV in Community Services / Disability Service
  • An interest in providing support to clients to enhance their independence and social inclusion
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • A Police check completed in the last 6 months
  • A Current Australian drivers licence
  • Client specific training will be provided
  • Candidates should be up to date with Vaccinations/Immunisations


All candidates should be up to date with relevant Vaccinations/Immunisations: (Hep A & Hep B).
