Holmesglen Private Hospital is looking to employ a Food Services Assistant to join their busy department on a full time basis. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.
As a Food Services Assistant your responsibilities will include: 
  • Responsibility of daily food preparation, basic cooking and meal assembly
  • Preparation of sandwiches, salads and wraps
  • Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
  • Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards
  • Monitoring and recording of end point temperatures.
  • Follow all HACCP and WH&S principles
  • Rotation of stock using First in First Out method

Selection Criteria:
  • Must be available to work both Saturday and Sunday as well as evenings
  • Current Food Processing Certificate Level 1 (working towards or willing to attain)
  • Cooking qualification highly favoured
  • Prior experience  in Healthcare Food Services
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills
