Knox Private Hospital is currently seeking an enthusiastic Physiotherapist to join our team in a casual weekday capacity to assist with leave cover and caseload management. We are seeking someone with a diverse range of skills who is able to work across our multiple sites including Knox Private Hospital, Bellbird Private Hospital and Ringwood Private Hospital. As a Physiotherapist your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessment and treatment of patients where clinically indicated in collaboration with patients/families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes
  • Providing a high standard of clinical care to individuals/patients in our hospitals



The Healthscope Eastern Cluster consists of Knox Private Hospital, Ringwood Private Hospital, Bellbird Private Hospital, and The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to experience a varied clinical caseload, providing physiotherapy services across the acute, sub-acute and rehabilitation setting.

Knox Private Hospital is the largest private hospital in the eastern and south eastern corridor of Melbourne. Our hospital is growing, from November 2015, we will operate 290 patient beds, 11 theatres, a 24 hour Emergency Department, an on-site medical team, a 10 bed Intensive Care Unit, a 10 bed Coronary Care Unit and a Day Procedure Unit. We offer a broad range of acute services, with over 25 speciality areas and are leaders in cardiac and general surgery, obstetrics, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, urology, plastics and vascular surgery.

Selection Criteria:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Experience across a range of services; including Acute and Rehabilitation
  • Highly developed assessment and treatment skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Skills and experience working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
  • Customer focused service delivery
