The aim of the Graduate Program at Darwin Private Hospital is to provide a year of consolidation of clinical skills in a supportive and caring environment.

Positions Available:

  •   1 position in Maternity Services 

 

 

 Mandatory Requirements:

  • Working with Children Card
  • Registration with AHPRA
  • Serology/evidence of vaccination
  • Current working visa / Australian residency

 

 

 

Darwin Private Hospital offers a broad range of specialist multiday and day services including, Paediatrics, Cardiac Catheterisation, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Plastic and Reconstructive, ENT, Urology, Gastroenterology and ENT.  Our services include a dedicated maternal and neonatal unit, paediatric unit, acute medical surgical unit, rehabilitation unit and angiography suite.

 

 

 

 

Selection Criteria: 

  • Dual registration Nurse / Midwifery applicants will be considered for a 12 Month Graduate Program in Maternity Services.
  • Eligibility for registration with the Nurses and Midwives board (AHPRA)
  • N.T. Working with Children Check 
  • Flexible to undertake Part Time employment on a 7-day rotating roster
  • High-level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Works well within a team

  • Curriculum Vitae including contact details of 2 referees. One referee must be a clinical teacher, preceptor or other senior nurse that you have reported to at a clinical placement
  • Academic Transcript (Unofficial Transcript is acceptable if you have not graduated)
  • Signed copies of three recent clinical placement assessments (please only include placement reports relevant to Darwin Private Hospital)
