Prince of Wales Private Hospital is one of Sydney’s leading private hospitals. Located in the heart of Randwick sharing a campus with Prince of Wales Hospital (public), Sydney Children’s Hospital, the Royal Hospital for Women and Eastern Heart Clinic.
 
Our hospital has 168 inpatient beds plus 20 day beds, renowned for treating high acuity and complex patients as well as day patients.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join as a HR Assistant and Credentialing Officer in our friendly Executive Team.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
This role will provide HR and Credentialing support for the hospital. You will work closely with Executive Office Manager as well as our General Manager and Director of Nursing. You will be the conduit between our Doctor’s and the General Manager and as such exemplary customer service skills are crucial.
 
 
Essential Criteria:
  • At least three years administrative experience in a busy and professional environment
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • General HR and recruitment administration including drafting offer letters, updating employee database, processing new starters and departures (including VISA applications, APHRA certificate renewals, Working with Children Checks, Police Checks)
  • Coordination of Doctor Credentialing applications, renewals, registrations, insurances and reference checking
  • High level attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Outstanding customer service
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • Ability to follow instructions and take directions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
 
 
Desirable Criteria:
  • Previous administrative experience in a hospital/health care environment
