The opening of the new Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH) provides opportunities for the local clinical and non-clinical workforce and ensures our patients healthcare needs are met now and into the future. NBH is a fully licensed private hospital providing services to both public and private in and out patients by exceptional nurses, doctors, allied and support staff.Located on the northern beaches, the hospital is extremely well-situated and its management supports and encourages staff to achieve work-life balance, while actively supporting their professional development.
The Emergency Department provides 24/7 care comprising 50 beds & treatment spaces, the large ground floor area is divided into zones: assessment; paediatrics; short stay; adult acute; resuscitation (paediatrics & adult); mental health assessment. ED works closely with the adjoining bulk-bill Medical Centre to offer a choice of treatment locations appropriate to the clinical needs of patients.

Expand your skills and join this outstanding health and medical emergency team. The successful individuals will have extensive experience working in emergency and be passionate about their work!  Full time, part time and casual opportunities (8 or 12 hour shifts) available.


As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency team you will make an impact by: 

  • Delivering evidence based nursing care
  • Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety
  • Supervising and guide junior nurses to deliver quality patient care and excellent service
  • Delivering education and support to patients for the management of their health recovery

 You will bring to our high-performing team:

  • Current AHPRA nursing registration
  • Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
  • Proven clinical experience in emergency
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Clinical expertise and passion for delivering quality patient-centred care
  • Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team
  • Flexibility and willingness to work rotating roster.
