The new Victoria Clinic is currently a 115 patient-bed private psychiatric facility located on Malvern Road in Prahran. 

This architecturally-designed, purpose-built mental health facility specialises in the provision of high quality inpatient mental health services.

As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager – Mental Health your responsibilities will include:

·       Providing operational direction for the unit to ensure efficient and effective management

·       Coordinating the delivery of nursing care that is evidence based

·       Ensuring the delivery of excellent patient and family centred care in a team focused environment

·       Providing guidance, mentoring and support to your team

·       Be accountable for the effective management of human, financial and material resources

·       Undertaking direct patient care

·       Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

·       Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team including our VMO partners

·       Facilitate a learning culture to ensure continuous improvement

·       Coordinate and drive clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives

Essential Criteria:

·       Current Registration with AHPRA

·       Current or previous ANUM or clinical nurse specialist experience (desirable)

·       Registered Nurse with at least 5 years’ experience in inpatient mental health settings Knowledge of NSQHS/ACHS Standards (desirable)

·       Post graduate qualification or working toward

·       Demonstrated ability to foster positive working relations with a wide range of diverse stakeholders

·       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·       A commitment to a high standard of clinical and customer focused care

·       High degree of computer literacy including MS office and various data bases

·       Ability to work cohesively within a team environment
