We are looking for a dynamic and qualified General Practitioner (GP) who is interested in joining our team as the GP Medical Centre Lead. This is a fantastic leadership opportunity to provide quality healthcare to the local community.
The Northern Beaches Medical Centre is a General Practice (GP) clinic co-located with the Emergency Department at the Northern Beaches Hospital in Frenchs Forest, NSW. We are looking for a dynamic and qualified GP who is interested in joining our team as the Lead of the GP Medical Centre.
The Northern Beaches Medical Centre serves the community as an acute clinic to support the Emergency Department and wider operations of the hospital. The clinic sees walk-in patients; urgent care patients who would otherwise seek care in the Emergency Department; or patients who are unable to see their regular GP. This is a fantastic leadership opportunity to provide quality healthcare to the local community.
Essential Criteria
- Vocationally Registered – FRACGP or FACCRM.
- Ability to work within a team structure.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, analytical decision making, innovative thinking and an ability to manage people.
Further Information:
All of our GPs are credentialed as VMO’s of Northern Beaches Hospital and are paid a sessional rate.
Patients attending Northern Beaches Medical Centre are bulk-billed, however the GP’s income is not linked to billing (note the sessional rate above).
The Northern Beaches Medical Centre is open 7-days per week and our GPs can choose regular shifts or occasional casual shifts, as the roster allows.
The clinic is a new, state-of-the-art facility including on-site pathology/radiology, pharmacy, specialist rooms and ample parking.
The hospital is located on the beautiful Northern Beaches Peninsula of Sydney and serving a large population offering Level 5 delineation services for both public and private patients with full range medical, surgical and mental health services; featuring 486 beds, 50-bed Emergency Department, 20-bed general and cardiothoracic ICU, 14 state-of-the-art theatres including cardiac catheter labs, world-class education centre, doctors lounge and excellent staff facilities.
