Are you new graduate or HP3 Occupational Therapist seeking a rewarding role in rehabilitation? Do you have a passion for client-centred and goal directed care? We would love to hear from you.

 

An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and passionate clinician to join our highly experienced OT team.  The successful applicant will be innovative, a self-starter and flexible in their approach to meeting the challenges of a busy and exciting service and carry a mixed caseload. 

 

 

As an Occupational Therapist your responsibilities will include:

  • Comprehensive Occupational Therapy rehabilitation services to inpatients and outpatients of varied diagnostic groups
  • Maximise the occupational performance of patients, adopting a client-centred and goal directed approach
  • Participate in program development and quality improvement activities within the Occupational Therapy Department and hospital
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and professional development programs

Peninsula Private Hospital has been providing healthcare services to the Redcliffe Peninsula community for over 30 years. We are a 65 patient-bed private hospital, situated in Kippa-Ring providing medical, surgical and rehabilitation healthcare services.

 

 

Selection Criteria:

 

  • Bachelor in Occupational Therapy or equivalent
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Excellent clinical practice skills in rehabilitation
  • Well-developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisation, time management and self-management skills
  • Autonomy in work practice
  • Current drivers licence
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork
