Are you an enthusiastic Physiotherapist looking to join a highly experienced interdisciplinary team? Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking applications from experienced Physiotherapist to join our busy team on a Casual basis to work across a range of shifts including regular weekends.
About the Role
· Provide comprehensive acute Physiotherapy services to inpatients of medical/surgical wards, including coverage to ICU and CCU
· Deliver excellent clinical services related to assessment, treatment, planning and evidence based practice
· Participate in program development and quality improvement activities within the Allied Health Department, supported by the Allied Health Manager
· Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and professional development programs, working parties and committees to have your say in the service hospital provides
Essential Qualifications
· Degree in Physiotherapy
· Minimum of 1-year post-graduate experience in an acute hospital setting
· Current registration with AHPRA
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Sound organisational and time management skills
· Evidence of participation in continuing education
· Awareness of Quality Improvement and Occupational Health and Safety / Infection Control policies and procedures
Desirable
· The ideal candidate would be someone finishing public hospital allocation – 1 year post graduation with ICU experience preferable
