Physiotherapist – Full Time (Grade 1/2) at The Hills Private Hospital

Exciting opportunities have opened up for a full time Physiotherapist to join the Allied Health Team at The Hills Private Hospital.
 

As a Physiotherapist your responsibilities will include:

• Assessment and treatment of patients where clinically indicated in collaboration with patients/families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes
• Providing a high standard of clinical care to individuals/patients in our hospital

The Hills Private Hospital is a refurbished hospital with 86 inpatient rehabilitation beds, 25 inpatient mental health beds and a Day Program. We currently offer Orthopaedic, Neurological, Reconditioning, Cardiac and Amputee Rehabilitation Programs. Applicants must be flexible, team oriented and prepared to hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities:

• To undertake full clinical responsibility for the physiotherapy diagnosis, assessment and treatment of a designated clinical load of patients undergoing rehabilitation
• Adhere to the ethical principles of the Australian Physiotherapy Association
• Liaise with multidisciplinary team regarding patient care and therapy time tabling
• Attendance / feedback of information at case conference and family conferences
   

Selection Criteria:

• Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
• Current AHPRA registration
• Experience across a range of services; including Acute and Rehabilitation
• Highly developed assessment and treatment skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Skills and experience working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
• Customer focused service delivery
