This is a full time permanent role to start ASAP. 

As a member of the Northern Beaches Hospital Clinical Governance Team, reporting to the Clinical Risk Manager; the role is responsible for ensuring effective systems, processes and resources are in place that assist the hospital to deliver high quality and safe care; and ensure ongoing accreditation readiness and compliance with the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards; as well as relevant clinical care standards and advisories from the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC); and ensuring licensing and health fund requirements relevant to accreditation are met. 

Your experience:

·       Quality Manager or senior clinical manager in a healthcare setting

·       Experienced in working in a large complex organisation

·       Accreditation experience with national safety and quality health service standards (or other)

·       Project management skills, either as lead or participant, including the implementation and evaluation of improvement activities

·       Established and managed relationships with key stakeholders, networks, and customers

·       Collection, aggregation, and analysis of data, prepare, and present reports. 

Your personal attributes:

·       Demonstrated leadership skills 

·       Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team and autonomously

·       Attention to detail with excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines

·       Consultation and negotiation skills with the ability to involve all stakeholders involving consumers

Your qualifications:

Mandatory:

·       Relevant nursing, medical, allied health, or other health related qualification.

Desirable:

·       Assessor/auditor qualification or working towards
