NorthPark Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our consulting suites team. At NorthPark, we offer a wide range of surgical and medical services including a leading mental health support via a range of day programs with inpatient support, maternity services and an early parenting unit.

NorthPark Private Hospital is located on the corner of Plenty Road and Greenhill's Road Bundoora, close to public transport and onsite parking at a minimal cost is available.

As an Administration Officer your responsibilities will include:

  •  Greet all patients
  •  Manage a busy reception desk
  •  Handle enquires with a friendly and professional manner
  •  Answer and redirect calls
  •  Organise appointments, reschedule, reminder SMS confirming booking
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  •  Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records
  •  Manage collection of consultation fees via electronic payment
  •  Liaising with staff from different departments, other GP clinics, hospitals
  • Accurate computer data entry

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience in healthcare with exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills    
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Be able to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team environment
  • Exceptional computer skills - MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) 
  • Flexible working hours including evenings and weekends between 8 am - 9 pm
  • Zedmed experience (desired)
