About the Role
The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre is looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals join our Administration team. You will play a key role working within our supportive team to ensure our patients and visitors have a positive experience during their visit.
Example of shift times range: Weekdays 8am- 4pm / 3pm- 8pm and Weekends 9am - 5pm

The centre offers a friendly and supportive staff environment, with our established multi-disciplinary team servicing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs.
As an Administration Officer your responsibilities will include:
- Greet all customers
- Handle enquiries with a friendly and professional manner
- Manage a busy reception desk
- Answer and redirect calls
- Coordinate with staff from other departments
- Prepare admission paperwork
- Perform Health Fund Checks as required
- Manage the collection of Health fund Excess/ co-payments and out of pocket fees
- Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records
- Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry
Selection Criteria:
- Experience in a patient focused Healthcare facility/Hospital (desired)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Works well independently and within a team
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends (essential)
- WebPas patient management system experience (desired)
