Our Patient Services Team have several vacancies for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to work alongside our team of Administration staff in supporting the hospital’s Admissions and Reception.
As an Administration Officer your responsibilities will include:
- Perform a broad range of administration duties including:
- Manage a busy reception desk
- Answer and redirect calls
- Prepare admission paperwork
- Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records
- Perform Health Fund Checks as required
- Manage the collection of excesses/co payments
- Coordinate with staff from other departments
- Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry

The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre is a 93 bed rehabilitation facility that offers an extensive range of inpatient and outpatient services. Our specialties include multi-trauma, orthopaedics, stroke, cardiac, restorative, acquired brain injury, respiratory and pain management rehabilitation. Located in Glen Waverley on Springvale Road, the facility is within easy access to all Melbourne’s main road network, with the added bonus of onsite parking.
About the Role
A great opportunity exists for a motivated Receptionist / Administration Officer to join The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre Administration and Front Office Team. Individuals who can demonstrate experience in healthcare administration, have a commitment to customer service, good interpersonal skills and have enthusiasm and energy, are invited to apply.
Must have flexibility to work between the hours of 8am–8pm Monday to Friday and 9am-5pm Saturday and Sunday.
Selection Criteria:
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Works well independently and within a team
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts – early/late shifts & weekend work
- WebPas Hospital system experience (Desired)
