Administration Officer

Our Outpatient Administration/Scheduling Team are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to support the Outpatient Services Day Rehab Hub at The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre.

As one of the largest private rehabilitation facilities in Australia, The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre has a reputation for high quality and patient-focused care, across a range of rehabilitation specialties. The centre offers a friendly and supportive staff environment, with our established multi-disciplinary team servicing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs.

Key responsibilities:

·       scheduling outpatient appointments by following a meticulous checklist to ensure accuracy

·       manage a busy reception desk where required

·       answer and direct calls and prepare admission paperwork

·       follow up on requests and make reminder calls for visits

·       maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records

·       Manage the collection of excesses/co payments

·       Coordinate with staff from other departments

·       Complete other clerical tasks such as data entry

·       Open to cross training in all areas of the Day Rehab Hub, inclusive of Pain Management Program and Rehab at Home scheduling       

Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Strong attention to detail

  •  Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)

  • Works well independently and within a team

  •  Flexible to work a variety of shifts 

Desirable:

  •  WebPas Hospital system experience (Desired)

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - VIC / NON-clinical Agreement – General classification starting from $26.39 - $37.39 per hour.
