Our main administration team have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work alongside our team of administration staff in supporting the hospital’s Admissions and Reception areas.  


As an Administration Officer your responsibilities will include:

  • Perform a broad range of administration duties including:
    • Meet and greet patients and visitors to the hospital

    • Manage a busy concierge desk

    • Answer and redirect calls

    • Organise bookings and prepare admission paperwork

    • Filing of medical documentation (electronically and manual filing systems)

  • Maintain accurate and effective record management systems including preparation of medical records

  • Perform Health Fund Checks and advise patients of any out of pocket expenses

  • Manage the collection of excesses/co payments

  • Coordinate with staff from other departments

  • Complete other ad hoc administration tasks as directed

Selection Criteria:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly developed organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Works well independently and within a team
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts – early/late shifts & regular weekend work
  • WebPas Hospital system experience (Desired)
