We have an opportunity for an experienced hospital Administration Officer who has excellent administrative and organisational skills to join the Administration team.

 


As an Administration Officer your responsibilities may include:

  • Manage a busy reception desk
  • Manage the collection of excesses/co-payments
  • Answer and redirect switchboard calls
  • Prepare admission paperwork
  • Perform Health Fund Checks as required
  • Coordinate with staff from other departments
  • Complete other clerical tasks as required
  • Assist other departments when required

 


Campbelltown Private Hospital is a purpose built private hospital located in Park Central, the ever-growing medical hub of Campbelltown. Our modern facilities include 8 Operating Theatres, 52 Surgical beds, 16 bed Day Surgery Unit and 34 bed Rehabilitation Unit.  We offer excellent employee conditions with extensive support offered by our Management team.

 


Selection Criteria:

  • Minimum one year previous hospital administration experience essential
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience in MS Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Works well independently and within a team
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts – early/late shifts & weekend work
  • WebPas Hospital system experience (Desired)
  • Must meet the requirements for Category A, for occupational staff health and screening and provide evidence of the required immunisations
