The Role

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and positive Administration Team Leader to provide operational direction for the front office team.

The Team Leader role is a “hands-on” role for all areas of responsibilities across front office, with a supervisor component. Your responsibilities will include:

·         Overseeing Front Reception, Bookings, Pre-Admissions, Theatre and Day Surgery admissions, discharge of patients

·         Financial Consent management including private health eligibility, patient accounts collections

·         Manage rosters, staffing and supervision of staff, assist Administration Manager with ongoing staff development including appraisals and informal/formal performance management

·         Perform process reviews and ongoing change management where required

·         Assist Administration Manager in maximizing team performance through achieving team and hospital KPI’s

·         Handle enquiries and resolve complaints

·         Maintain accurate documentation of patient records via webPas

·         Utilise MS Office application to manage correspondence and conduct reports.

·         Ad hoc duties as directed by the Administration Manager

What you'll need to succeed

·         Demonstrated experience and a strong working knowledge in a private health hospital setting (desirable)

·         Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a team.

·         Strong team management and conflict management and resolution skills

·         Experience in hospital/patient management software systems (webPas)

·         Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
