Our multidisciplinary team is seeking motivated allied health assistants to join our team on a casual or part time basis. If you are looking for flexibility and extra hours or to increase your clinical skill, this will be right opportunity.

Campbelltown Private Hospital is a purpose built private hospital located in Park Central, the ever-growing medical hub of Campbelltown.  Our modern facilities include 8 Operating Theatres, 48 Surgical beds, 15 bed Day Surgery Unit and 34 bed Rehabilitation Unit.  We offer excellent employee conditions with extensive support, professional development and future leadership opportunities.

As the Allied Health Assistant your responsibilities will include:

  •          Support members of the Allied Health team to provide a high standard of clinical care to patients/families
  •          Work under the direction and supervision of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech pathologists to help clients achieve their rehabilitation goals
  •          Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions
  •          Complete administrative tasks in an efficient manner

 Essential Criteria:

  •          Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance
  •          Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, including receiving feedback.
  •          Ability to follow directions, prioritise workload and manage time effectively 
  •          Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  •          Knowledge of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy roles
  •          Experience working with or providing care to people in a health care setting or a basic understanding of exercise programs

Desirable Criteria

  • Working towards a Masters or bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy
