About the Role:

The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre is seeking a motivated Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) to join our dedicated nursing leadership team.


About us:

The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre is a leading rehabilitation facility in Glen Waverley with 106 inpatient beds. We provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services across orthopaedics, stroke, cardiac, restorative, respiratory and pain management programs. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional patient centred care within a supportive and collaborative environment.
 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team

  • Coordinate the delivery of evidence-based nursing care

  • Support the Nurse Unit Manager in achieving strategic, operational and quality objectives

  • Contribute to the effective management of human, financial and material resources

  • Foster a culture of patient safety, quality improvement and continuous learning

  • Act as a positive role model and mentor for nursing staff.


Selection Criteria: 

  • Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse

  • Current Police Check (within the last 90 days)

  • Working with Children’s Check

  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Rehabilitation setting

  • Sound clinical knowledge

  • Demonstrated knowledge of the NSQHS Standards

  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills

  • Strong leadership and role modelling capabilities

  • Excellent customer service focus, time management and prioritisation skills

  • Ability to manage a dynamic and changing environment

  • High degree of computer literacy including MS office and WebPAS clinical information systems

  • Successful applicants must be available to work night duty and weekends

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and VICNMA/ANMF- VIC Nurse and Midwives' -Enterprise Agreement 2025, a salary ranging from $60.1489 - $62.1681 per hour.
