Catering Stores Assistant - Part Time

Your responsibilities will include:
• Assisting the Catering Stores Manager with all food and non-food related ordering
• Receive, record and store all deliveries in accordance with the Food Safety Plan
• Monitoring stock to ensure only approved goods are received and any irregularities are rectified
• Ensure stock rotation and complete monthly stock takes
• Accurate ordering in line with patient occupancy
• Maintain relationships with key suppliers
• Be proactive towards waste management
• Maintain an exceptionally clean and organized work area
You will bring to the team:
• Previous experience in a similar role within a large scale fast paced environment
• Ability to work autonomously and self manage your time effectively
• Forward planner, problem solver with strong communication skills
• Strong focus on managing budgets
• Knowledge of food ingredients and specification
• Basic food handler’s certificate
Highly regarded/Desirable:
• Previous qualified chef with experience in hospitality or healthcare sector
• Food Safety Certificate
