Clinical Pharmacist

We’re seeking motivated Clinical Pharmacists to join our Allied Health team on a casual basis.
Clinical Pharmacists provide a comprehensive range of pharmacy services to inpatients and day-patients, including clinical pharmacy services, quality improvement activities and educational sessions.
Essential Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications in Pharmacy, with current general registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
- Experience in the provision of clinical pharmacy services and/or awareness of current issues in clinical pharmacy.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, manage time effectively and complete activities
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and email applications.
- Demonstrated application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised person-centred patient care.
- Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.
- Evidence of participation in own professional development and commitment to maintaining competence and enhancement of skills, and willingness to apply and share professional expertise with colleagues.
- Knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and principles (desirable)

Lady Davidson Private Hospital is a leading private rehabilitation facility in North Turramurra, Sydney owned by Healthscope. The hospital has 115 inpatient beds and a busy day patient program. Both inpatient and day patient programs are based on an interdisciplinary team approach where all team members play an integral role. The major case-mix groups are orthopaedic, neurological, cardiac, and reconditioning, as well as palliative care and general medical.
