Are you a hardworking and motivated individual?  A challenging opportunity exists for a Loan Set Coordinator in a very busy CSSD at Nepean Private Hospital on a full-time basis.

About us

Nepean Private Hospital is in the multi-cultural Western Sydney City of Penrith. The hospital is a modern 109 bed facility providing a wide range of health services to the local community since 2000 including: orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology and general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography and obstetrics. Nepean Private Hospital has eight operating theatres, one hybrid/cardiac catheterisation theatre and an endoscopy suite, supported by a critical care unit which includes intensive care.

As the CSSD Loans Coordinator your responsibilities will include:

·         Checking and coordinating instruments loan sets across all surgical specialties

·         Liaising with medical companies and specialty Nurse Unit Manager

·         To ensure completeness of all sets on receiving and dispatch on a strict deadline

·         High attention to detail

·         Ability to process instruments efficiently and timely, and manage documentation effectively

Selection Criteria:

·         Certificate III in Sterilisation

·         Previous experience working in a sterilising department

·         Experience with checking in and out of loan equipment

·         Knowledge of Australian sterilisation standard – AS 5369 (2023)

·         Ability to process instruments efficiently and timely and manage material resources

·         Effective interpersonal and communication skills

·         Established interpersonal and problem solving skills

·         Intermediate computer literacy skills
