Lady Davidson Private Hospital in North Turramurra is looking to employ a Diet Aid to join our busy Catering Services team. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.

• Supportive Management 
• Full time role based in North Turramurra (flexible hours)
• Certificate IV in Nutrition 

Our team works together to provide safe and clinically appropriate nutrition from food, beverages and specialised nutrition products to hospital patients.

 As a Diet Aid your responsibilities will include:

·       Collection of meal order for the patients

·       Collation of food orders for patients

·       Preparation & stock control of supplement orders for the patients

·       Checking of food service trays for the line

·       Following up on diet issues

·       Liaising with the dietitians to ensure nutritionally balanced meals for our patients

·       Any other reasonable requests from the Catering Services Manager 

·       You will bring to our high-performing team: -

·       Knowledge of food safety and hygiene requirements

·       Dietary knowledge and diet code Knowledge

·       Track record of providing great service and customer experience

·       Effective communication skills

·       Demonstrate a great work ethic and attention to detail

·       Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment

·       Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service

·       Respect and work well with others to achieve goals

·       Act with integrity and show care for the people you work with

·       Embrace change and seek ways to improve service

·       Motivated by personal growth and accountability

·       Food service experience in a hospital and hospitality setting (preferred)

·       A can-do attitude!

Selection Criteria:

·       Certificate IV in Nutrition & Dietetics or equivalent

·       Demonstrated understanding and application of support to clinical dietitians

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Strong focus on patient care and customer service

·       Ability to follow diet protocols, safe operating procedures

·       Strong computer skills and experience in quality improvement

·       Ability to work to strict deadlines
