Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Dietitian looking for a new and exciting position? 

Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Dietitian to join our Allied Health team on a part time basis 22 hours per week.  We are seeking applicants with flexibility to work across the 7 days of the week to meet the needs of the roster including rostered shifts, planned leave cover and emergent leave cover. Our hospital offers a friendly and supportive staff environment, with our established multidisciplinary teams servicing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs. This role provides the opportunity to experience a varied caseload across general medical, ICU, cardiac and a world-class bariatric program.

Established in 2016, Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 340-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.

With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.

As a Dietitian your responsibilities will include:

·       Providing evidence-based nutritional assessment and management of patients

·       Demonstrating sound clinical reasoning and best practice dietary prescription

·       Contributing to the multidisciplinary care of our patients

·       Involvement with both inpatient and outpatient services

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent)
  • Current member of Dietitian Association of Australia
  • Acute hospital experience
  • Exceptional time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Proven excellence in customer service delivery
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing education and the provision of evidence based practice
  • Authority to Work in Australia
