  • Are you a motivated and experienced Dietitian?
  • Do you enjoy working across a varied caseload with a mixture of patient presentations?
  • Are you comfortable working autonomously and self directed with the support of a highly engaged Allied Health Team, Manager and other experienced Dietitians to bounce clinical ideas off?

We currently have the opportunity for an enthusiastic Dietitian to join our Allied Health team. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to experience a varied caseload including oncology, gastrointestinal surgery, general medical, ICU, cardiac and orthopaedics.

 

As a Dietitian your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide appropraite assessment and treatment to your patients
  • Be involved in the multi-disciplinary team (communicating with doctors, nursing staff and external providors)
  • Ensuring comprehensive discharge plans and handover is in place for the continuum of care
  • Be comfortable managing your own time, workload and productivity

 

Holmesglen Private Hospital boasts 147 beds across five wards, Intensive Care Unit and Coronary Care Unit,
Emergency Department, seven Operating Suites, Catheter Laboratory, Day of Surgery Admission and Day Oncology services.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor in Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent)
  • Current Accredited Practicing Dietitian Status
  • Acute hospital experience preferred
  • Exceptional time management and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Proven excellence in customer service delivery
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to ongoing education and the provision of evidence based practice
