Director of Nursing: Northpark Private Hospital & La Trobe Private Hospital 

We are pleased to invite applications for the Director of Nursing, overseeing both Northpark Private Hospital and La Trobe Private Hospital. 

This is a unique and rewarding opportunity for an experienced and values driven nursing leader to step into a high-impact role spanning two distinct and growing sites. With a diverse clinical footprint and a strong focus on expansion and patient-centred care, this dual-site leadership role offers broad scope, professional growth, and the ability to make a meaningful difference across varied specialties and teams in a fast-paced setting. Clinical services across the sites include Surgical, Mental Health, Maternity, Early Parenting Unit and Medical.  

Key responsibilities include: 

·                Providing strategic and operational leadership to nursing and clinical teams 

·                Driving a culture of high-quality, safe, and patient-centred care 

·                Leading workforce planning, capability development, and clinical governance initiatives 

·                Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with organisational values 

·                Collaborating with executive, medical, and multidisciplinary teams to meet performance, safety, and patient experience targets. 

About You: 

You are a dynamic and collaborative leader with significant senior nursing management experience in a range of clinical services. You bring strong people leadership, sound clinical knowledge, and a commitment to continuous improvement. 

Your leadership style is approachable, proactive, and solutions focused. You value clinical excellence, consistency, and empowering your team to deliver outstanding care. 

Experience in high acuity environments is essential, along with a demonstrated ability to lead teams through change, enhance clinical capability, and support complex care delivery. The diverse case mix of Northpark and La Trobe Private Hospitals provides an engaging and rewarding leadership environment, with the opportunity to influence clinical practice across acute, sub-acute, and mental health disciplines.
