Knox Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse with excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for delivering high quality patient care to join our established Orthopaedic/ENT/Paediatric team.

Knox Private Hospital is one of the largest private hospitals in Victoria, caring for over 1.2 million people across Melbourne’s east and outer east.
We have a 24/7 Emergency Department, covering a full range of medical and surgical specialty areas, including highly complex surgeries. Backed by the latest technology and expertise, we offer 15 theatres, including a hybrid theatre, diagnostic cardiology, two cardiac cath labs and capabilities for cardiothoracic surgery, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, urology and more.
All supported by a soon to be expanded coronary care unit and intensive care unit. Our expert care team of surgeons, specialist doctors, dedicated nurses and other professionals will ensure that your experience is the best it can be.
This role will be housed within a brand-new ward on the 3rd floor of the hospital with lovely views and state-of-the-art equipment. The team here work very closely together and have proven to be extremely welcoming to new starters.
As an Enrolled Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
· Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN
· Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs
· Act as a role model for Safe Practice
· Administer medications according to state law and organisation policy
· demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development
Essential Criteria:
· Authority to Work in Australia
· Working with Children check
· Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA
· Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
· Advanced level of clinical skills (desired)
· Previous experience working as an Enrolled Nurse in a Hospital environment is essential
· Commitment to Quality Patient Care
· Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to meet objectives/timelines
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
· Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
· Able to work of our rotational roster

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses Enterprise Agreement 2021 - 2025" (salaries range between $36.13 and $48.32)
