Our Unit 2 provides specialised treatment for Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety conditions, psychotic illnesses as well as a range of Personality Disorders. Treatments include medication, ECT Therapy, TMS, Group therapy and Day to day nursing support.

The OCD Program is a very structured group program as well as offering individualised treatment plans.   The program structure is evidence based and based on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy both theory and Exposure therapy based.  It is run by an experienced Allied Health team including a Medical Director, psychologists and an Occupational Therapist.
 

If you have an interested in the above presentations, this role will allow you to develop your clinical skills whilst being supported by our passionate Nurse Unit Manager and leadership team.

 

As an Enrolled Nurse your responsibilities will include:

·              Deliver evidence-based nursing care

·              Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team

·              Ensure patient and staff safety

·              Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs

Essential Criteria:

·         At least 12 months of Mental Health experience

·         Current Registration with AHPRA

·         Working with Children check

·         Commitment to Quality Patient Care

·         Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

·         Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills

·         Excellent communication and customer service skills

·         Works well independently and within a team

·         Basic computer skills

If you are successful, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the "Healthscope - Victoria - Nurses' and Midwives' Agreement 2021-2025" (salaries range between $
34.05 and $ 36.20 per hour).
