Brisbane Private Hospital is looking to employ and Environmental Services Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team on a permanent part time basis. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and an interest to achieve high standards of customer satisfaction.

Shift times for this role are rotating shifts over Monday to Sunday between the hours 7pm and 3am.

Set at the top of Wickham Terrace, Brisbane’s busiest medical precinct, above the Roma Street Parklands in the heart of the CBD, Brisbane Private Hospital is an acute and rehabilitation hospital with 181 beds, 17 operating theatres and dedicated surgical, ICU and rehabilitation wards. Brisbane Private Hospital specialises in Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, Spinal, ENT, Pain and Rehabilitation with additional specialties including Plastics, Urology, General Surgery, Gynaecology and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Brisbane Private Hospital also delivers a leading private drug and alcohol program, Damascus Health Services, from its dedicated drug and alcohol rehabilitation unit.

As an Environmental Services Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

·       Provide high standard of cleaning services

·       Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures

·       Deliver excellent customer service to patients, clients and staff

Essential Criteria:

·       Attention to detail

·       Well-developed strong communication and interpersonal skills

·       Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment

·       Skills and motivation to ensure excellence in customer service

·       The ability to complete tasks within a measurable timeframe

·       The ability to work in a diverse physically challenging position/workload

Desirable Criteria: 

·       Previous experience in hospital / hotel cleaning
