Gold Coast Private Hospital is looking to employ an Environmental Services Manager to join our established team on a full-time basis. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and an interest to achieve high standards of customer satisfaction.
As a Housekeeping & Environmental Services Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- You will be responsible for the management of the Environmental Services staff and undertake the cleaning across the facility
- Communicate and deal with contractors for managing waste and cleaning
- Undertake cleaner orders
- Operate in line with infection control standards and WHS policy & procedures.
- Provide high standard of cleaning services
- Deliver excellent customer service to patients, clients and staff

Essential Criteria:
- Flexibility to work across different hours as required
- Previous experience as a supervisor or manager in a hospital, hotel services, or shopping centre
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of managing a 24/7 roster using electric time and attendance systems (eg Kronos)
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Skills and motivation to ensure excellence in customer service
- The ability to complete tasks within a measurable timeframe
- The ability to work in a diverse physically challenging position/workload
- Certification 3 or 4 in cleaning operations is desirable
