    Are you an experienced Executive Administration Professional looking for a rewarding opportunity? An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual with experience in a high functioning Executive Administrative position to join our Executive team.

    Peninsula Private Hospital is seeking an experienced EA who will take initiative and anticipate key events, taking actions to enable the smooth running of the executive office. You will be highly competent in managing complex and frequently changing schedules, build and manage internal and external stakeholder relationships, be highly organised and manage sensitive information in a confidential manner.

    About Us 

    Peninsula Private is currently a 54 bed acute and rehabilitation hospital with 2 operating theatres and 1 procedure room located on the idyllic Redcliffe Peninsula. Specialties include orthopaedics, general surgery, urology, gynaecology, gastroenterology, ophthalmology and internal medicine and the delivery of leading rehabilitation services and programs on the Brisbane northside.

    As an Executive Assistant, you will provide organisational and administrative support to the GM/DON to enable them to execute the role efficiently:

    • Diary management, liaising with internal, external and international personnel regarding complex diary and meeting management.
    • Coordinate executive communications, including, taking calls, responding to emails, drafting correspondence, oversee the creation of documents, minute taker and distribution of minutes, various reports and presentations
    • Maintaining an organised filing system of paper and electronic documents
    • Contribute to a team environment, working collaboratively in sharing and generating ideas, empowered to achieve outcomes
    • Assist the Staff Development Coordinator with employee on-boarding and day 1 orientation activities
    • Organise and maintain the accreditation of all VMO using the eCredentialing system in the absence of the Credentialling Officer

    Essential Criteria

    • Three years executive administration experience in a busy and professional environment
    • Advanced computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
    • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
    • High level attention to detail, including in written materials
    • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
    • Outstanding customer service
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Advanced skills and demonstrated experience in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) & KRONOS System
    • High level of confidentiality
    • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
    • Ability to follow instructions and take directions
    • Previous administrative experience in a hospital/health care environment is desirable
