• $27.39 to $33.41 per hour plus superannuation

About the Opportunity
Gold Coast Private Hospital is looking for a reliable and hardworking Pot Washer / Steward to join our Food Services team on a permanent part-time basis.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of our kitchen operation. You will be responsible for keeping our equipment, utensils, and back-of-house areas clean, safe, and ready for service at all times. Previous experience in a hotel, hospital, or commercial kitchen environment is preferred.
Your Shifts
You must be available to work across a 7-day rotating roster:
• PM: 2:30pm to 10:00pm
Your Responsibilities
• Pot washing and cleaning of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and cookware to food safety standards
• Maintaining cleanliness of the dishwash and back-of-house areas throughout each shift
• Ensuring equipment is cleaned, sanitised, and ready for use at all times
• Assisting the kitchen team with general cleaning tasks as directed
• Following all food safety and hygiene procedures in accordance with hospital standards
• Supporting a smooth kitchen operation by working efficiently and communicating well with team members
What You'll Bring

• Experience in a hotel, hospital, or commercial kitchen environment (preferred)
• A strong work ethic and high personal standards for cleanliness and hygiene
• The ability to work at pace and keep up with the demands of a busy kitchen
• A positive, team-focused attitude
• Availability for on-call shifts as required
• A current Working with Children Check (where applicable)
