Holmesglen Private Hospital is looking to employ a Food Services Assistant to join their busy catering department on a casual basis. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.

As a Food Services Assistant your responsibilities will include:             

  • Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays 
  • Assist in daily food preparation and basic meal assembly
  • Clean and maintain utensils and kitchen equipment in accordance with hospital & industry food safety and hygiene standards

Holmesglen Private Hospital is the largest and newest state of the art private hospital in Melbourne’s bayside suburbs. With 147 beds across five wards, Intensive Care Unit and Coronary Care Unit, Emergency Department, seven Operating Suites, Catheter Laboratory, Day of Surgery Admission and Day Oncology services.

Selection Criteria:

  • Current Food handling certificate
  • Prior experience in Healthcare Food Services
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts - PM shifts & weekend work
