 An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated Health Information Services Officer to join our Health Information Service team.

 As a Health Information Services Officer your responsibilities will include: 

• Medical record retrieval
• Provision of health information to internal and external clients
• Filing of paperwork
• Filing of medical records
• Day to day functionality of the Health Information Service Department
• Participating in performance improvement activities
• Culling of medical records 

The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre is a 90 bed rehabilitation facility. It offers an extensive range of inpatient and outpatient services. Our specialties include multi-trauma, orthopaedics, stroke, cardiac, restorative, respiratory and pain management rehabilitation. Located in Glen Waverley on Springvale Road, the facility is within easy access to all Melbourne's main road network, with the added bonus of onsite parking. 

Essential Criteria: 

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as a team member in a small team environment
• Ability to work within deadlines 

Desirable Criteria: 

• Previous hospital clerk experience
• Experience with the WebPAS patient information system
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products eg. Excel
