    The Victorian Rehabilitation centre is a fully accredited rehabilitation facility. The hospital offers an extensive range of inpatient and outpatient services. Our specialties include multi trauma, orthopaedics, stroke, pain management, cardiac, restorative, respiratory and slow stream rehabilitation. You will play a key role in ensuring the planning, development and teaching of education course/programs at the hospital are well thought out and executed.

      • Liaise and work closely with the multi-disciplinary team
      • Part time position (3 days per fortnight)

    As the Hospital Educator your responsibilities will include: 

      • Plan, develop and deliver education courses/programs within the hospital  - Nursing, Allied Health and Support Services
      • Coordinate and provide hands on educational support and orientation to all staff, graduates & students 
      • Promote a high standard of evidence based clinical care to all patients, through dissemination of current best practice knowledge 
      • Supervise staff compliance to annual Mandatory Training and completion of eLearning components 
      • Ensure best practice competency based programs are available and assessment of staff competencies are provided for all staff

     

    Desired Criteria: 

      • Certificate IV workplace training and Assessment (TAE) (or working towards)
      • Post Graduate Certificate in related specialty area (or working towards) 
      • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant educator experience  - desirable
      • Demonstrated experience in eLearning platforms 
      • High degree of computer literacy including MS Office Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
