Are you detail-oriented, dedicated, and passionate about patient care? Gold Coast Private Hospital is looking for a skilled Instrument Technician to join our dynamic CSSD team on a casual basis.

About us

Established in 2016 Gold Coast Private Hospital is a 339 bed, 22 operating theatre facility located in Southport, the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct.

Specialities include 24/7 Emergency Care Centre, Medical, Orthopaedic, Bariatric, Neurosurgical, Plastics, ENT & General Surgical, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology. Gold Coast Private Hospital is continually growing and offers exciting opportunities and professional career pathways in health care.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·       Cleaning & Maintenance: Expertly clean, sterilize, and instruments to ensure the highest standards of safety and hygiene.

·       Perform rigorous checks and tests on all equipment to guarantee functionality and readiness for procedures.

·       Work closely with medical staff to support efficient, seamless surgical operations.

·       Maintain accurate records of equipment sterilization, repairs, and inventory.

To be successful in this role you will be detailed driven, and task orientated.   You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and enjoy working to tight deadlines.  You will love working collaboratively in a team but enjoy the responsibility of working autonomously as required.
