About the role
Gold Coast Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health team on a part-time basis.
This opportunity will see you work across a diverse mix of inpatient rehabilitation cases including medical, orthopaedic, neurological, reconditioning and geriatric patients. You may also care for acute inpatients, day rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation and conduct home visits.
As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of safe, effective and efficient services and exceptional patient care.
We have 2 part-time contract roles available:
- 1 x 9-month temporary contract – Mat leave cover - must be available Tuesday to Friday, however, Monday to Friday available – start date 08.09.2025
- 1 x Temp part-time contract – minimum 2 days per week – 0.4 FTE but must be able to flex and pick up additional shifts – immediate start until November 2025

About you:
To be successful in your application, you will need to meet the requirements below:
· At least 1-year acute hospital experience
· Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent
· Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
· Effective communication skills
· Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and demonstrated ability to work autonomously
· Sound knowledge of My Aged Care systems and referral process
