The Northern Beaches Hospital is seeking Level 1/2 Occupational Therapists who are knowledgeable and flexible, to join our casual pool.

As an Occupational Therapist you will provide high quality services and make an impact by assessing and treating patients which enables them to reach their functional goals.

You will:

  • Provide a high standard of evidence based clinical care to public and private patients
  • work in partnership with Medical Officers, nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive care
  • Provide Occupational therapy intervention to a wide variety of patients in acute care including surgical, medical, critical care, emergency, and neurology  


You will bring to our high-performing team:

  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Current Australian drivers licence
  • Demonstrated and current acute hospital experience across a broad range of diagnoses
  • Highly developed assessment and treatment skills in the acute setting
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision, as part of the occupational therapy and multidisciplinary teams
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to ensure high quality patient care and handover
  • Previous experience in the private healthcare sector would be well regarded
