Are you someone with exceptional customer service skills that would love a role that gives back to its community? Nepean Private Hospital is seeking Patient Services Assistants to join our supportive team on a casual basis. You will take pride in your work, have a friendly and positive work attitude and an interest to achieve high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction. 

 




As a Patient Services Assistant your responsibilities will be to:

  • Provide high standard of cleaning service
  • Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
  • Ability to work a rotating 7 day roster over 24 hours





Owned and operated by Healthscope, Nepean Private Hospital is located in the multi-cultural Western Sydney City of Penrith. The hospital is a modern 109 bed facility providing a wide range of health services to the local community since 2000 including: orthopaedics, spinal, gynaecology, ENT, plastics, urology and general surgery, endoscopy, cardiology, cardiac angiography and obstetrics. Nepean Private Hospital has eight operating theatres, one hybrid / cardiac catheterisation theatre and a stand-alone endoscopy suite, supported by a critical care unit which includes two intensive care beds.

The successful applicant should be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Experience in Hospital/Hotel cleaning
  • Attention to detail
  • Well-developed strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
  • Skills and motivation to ensure excellence in customer service
  • The ability to complete tasks within a measurable timeframe
  • The ability to work in a diverse physically challenging position/workload 

 

Previous experience in a Healthcare environment would be a distinct advantage.

 

Successful applicants are required to provide evidence of a satisfactory Criminal History Record Check, a Working with Children Check, Health Assessment and immunisation assessment prior to commencement.
