Are you an Enrolled Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care? Gold Coast Private Hospital is looking to employ Enrolled Nurses for our Scrub/Scout Unit.

Our 336 bed, 22 operating theatre facility is conveniently co-located with the Gold Coast University Hospital and Griffith University, forming part of a truly unique healthcare and education precinct.

As an Enrolled Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

·       Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care to individuals/groups under the direction and supervision (either indirect or direct) of the RN

·       Work collaboratively with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs

·       Act as a role model for Safe Practice

·       Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development 

Essential Criteria:

·       Authority to Work in Australia

·       Minimum 1 year of experience as an Enrolled Nurse scrub scout

·       Working with Children’s Check

·       Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA

·       Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

·       Commitment to Quality Patient Care

·       Demonstrated time management & organisational skills with the ability to work effectively within a team setting

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

·       Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills, with a sound understanding of EN role within a perioperative setting
