We are seeking an energetic, flexible team member available to work rostered shifts over a 7-day rotation on a casual basis.

We have a 24/7 Emergency Department, covering a full range of medical and surgical specialty areas, including highly complex surgeries. Backed by the latest technology and expertise, we offer 15 theatres, including a hybrid theatre, diagnostic cardiology, two cardiac cath labs and capabilities for cardiothoracic surgery, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, urology and more.
All supported by the expanded coronary care unit and intensive care unit. Our expert care team of surgeons, specialist doctors, dedicated nurses and other professionals will ensure that your experience is the best it can be.
Our Emergency Department Administration Officers provide outstanding customer care to patients and their families. This is a great role for experienced and patient care focused individuals who are wanting to achieve work-life balance and a dynamic career in Healthcare.
As a Patient Services Assistant your responsibilities will include:
· Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties
· Greet all patients/visitors/guests within the hospital with a friendly demeanour and answer enquiries
· Going above and beyond with caring for our patients
· Comply with site WHS policy, infection control standards and policy and procedures
Essential Criteria:
· Authority to Work in Australia
· Working with Children check (if relevant)
· High-level problem-solving skills
· Excellent Customer Service, organisational and communication skills
· Ensure quality service is provided and government regulations are complied with in relation to food safety and infection control
· Commitment to service excellence.
· Attention to detail
· Work well independently and within a team
