About the Role
Physiotherapist (Level 1-2) – 12 month maternity leave contract

This position is responsible for providing a high quality physiotherapy service to NBH.  The Physiotherapy team at NBH provide a 7-day service to all inpatient areas, these include but are not limited to: aged care, intensive care, orthopaedics, surgical wards, neurosciences and neurosurgery, cardiothoracics, general medicine and the emergency department. This position will include participation in a weekend roster with one weekend shift worked approximately every 4 weeks.

Selection Criteria to be addressed in a cover letter:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist
• Recent and relevant experience working in an acute hospital setting in a similar role.
• Demonstrated proficient skills, competency and knowledge in the provision of current physiotherapy practice across a range of inpatient areas.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands, meet deadlines and complete allocated tasks (including ability to work within scope of practice and seek assistance when required).
• Commitment to participation in professional development, quality improvement activities and workplace education.
