Are you an enthusiastic Physiotherapist looking to join a highly experienced interdisciplinary Allied Health team? Do you have a passion for managing a varied, fast stream, acute case load?
Gold Coast Private Hospital are seeking enthusiastic and innovative Physiotherapists to join our team on a casual basis. The successful applicant would be involved in providing physiotherapy services across all our clinical areas including the acute medical and surgical wards, orthopaedics, oncology, rehabilitation, maternity, CCU and ICU. Flexibility to work a variety of shift times across the seven day a week roster is required.

With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.

As a Physiotherapist, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive Physiotherapy services to inpatients and day patients
- Delivering excellent clinical services related to assessment, treatment, planning and evidence-based practice
- Participating in program development and quality improvement activities within the Allied Health Department
- Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their support people
- Discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team and referrals to external services
- Clinical supervision of physiotherapy and allied health assistant students
Essential Criteria:
- Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Excellent clinical practice skills to manage a high acuity caseload
- Previous hospital experience is preferred
- Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork
- Clinical skills in ICU preferred (but not essential)
