At this time, Northern Beaches Hospital, Frenchs Forest invites applications from experienced Qualified Registered Physiotherapists to join us in our mission of providing quality health care services to the Northern Beaches community. Healthscope Northern Beaches are an accredited training hospital.

This is a frontline clinical physiotherapist position responsible for providing a high quality physiotherapy service to the Northern Beaches Hospital. Physiotherapy within Northern Beaches Hospital provides a 7 day service to all inpatient areas, these include but are not limited to:  intensive care, orthopaedics, surgical wards, neurosciences, coronary care, cardiothoracics and general medicine.  

Northern Beaches Hospital (NBH) is a fully licensed private hospital, providing care to public and private patients from an outstanding facility with a large range of quality services provided by exceptional nurses, doctors and staff. NBH is a patient-centred hospital able to provide a full range of health services: including Acute Medicine, Acute Surgery, Allied Health, Outpatients, Anaesthetics, Coronary Care, Emergency Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, Intensive Care, Medical Imaging, Mental Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Oncology, Paediatrics, Pathology, Pharmacy and Renal Dialysis, 13 operating theatres, 1 Hybrid theatre, 2 cardiac catheter laboratories and 4 procedure rooms.


Selection Criteria: 

  • Current Registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
  • Previous experience working in an acute hospital setting 
  • Demonstrated skills and knowledge in the provision of a physiotherapy service to consumers, carers and families requiring accurate assessment and intervention, in conjunction with appropriate referrals and discharge planning
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage workload demands and complete activities in a timely manner (including an ability to work within scope of practice or competence and seeking assistance when required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills within the MDT
  • Demonstrated commitment to participation in professional development, quality improvement activities and workplace education
  • Consistently demonstrate behaviours reflective of Healthscope’s STAR values
