Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking casual physiotherapists with experience in Women's health and maternity care to assist in the provision of patient care.




As a Physiotherapist your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessment and treatment of patients where clinically indicated in collaboration with patients/families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes
  • Providing a high standard of clinical care to individuals/patients in our hospital

 


Prince of Wales Private Hospital is one of Sydney's leading private hospitals. Located in the heart of Randwick, we share a campus with Sydney Children's Hospital, Prince of Wales (Public), and the Royal Hospital for Women. This provides a unique opportunity for collaborative treatment programs and advanced medical and surgical care not usually available in smaller private facilities.

 

Our hospital has 168 inpatient beds, 11 Operating Theatres; including a Robotic suite, and 20 day surgery spaces and we specialise in cardiothoracic surgery, intensive care, neurosurgery, orthopaedics, colorectal, urology, endovascular surgery, maternity, paediatrics, general surgery, ENT, plastics and oncology. 

 



Selection Criteria:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Experience with Women's health and Maternity services highly desirable
  • Experience across a range of services; including Acute and Rehabilitation
  • Highly developed assessment and treatment skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Skills and experience working in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team
  • Customer focused service delivery
  • Compliance with NSW Health Policy PD2020_017 Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases as a Category A Healthcare Worker
