In this role you will be required to:

  • Provide comprehensive Physiotherapy services to inpatients of varied diagnostic groups
  • Be able to work independently and have exceptional prioritisation and time management skills
  • Deliver excellent clinical services related to assessment, treatment, planning and evidence based practice
  • Have exposure to a state of the art ICU and CCU
  • Participate as part of a wider Allied Health Team with regular communication, opportunities for CPD and support
  • Have the opportunity to take shifts across our Metro Victorian sister hospitals including Knox, Bellbird, Ringwood, Vic Rehab, Dorset and North Eastern as requirements allow


Holmesglen Private Hospital is a comprehensive acute private hospital integrating clinical practice with teaching and research to provide patient centered, personalised care.

The state-of-the-art hospital includes:

  • 147 overnight beds
  • An Emergency Department with nine treatment bays
  • Critical Care services including six Intensive Care beds and nine Coronary Care beds
  • Five Operating Theatres, one Cardiac Catheter Laboratory and two procedure rooms
  • Oncology services including 12 Chemotherapy treatment bays

Healthscope and Holmesglen Institute have partnered to incorporate an integrated healthcare service and training facility, that will allow postgraduate nursing, medical and allied health students the opportunity to get clinical experience.

Selection Criteria:

  • Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Excellent clinical practice skills in rehabilitation assessment and intervention.
  • Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork
