Casual Physiotherapist (HP3) Sunnybank Private Hospital
Are you an experienced Physiotherapist with a commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork and an interest in delivering excellent clinical services related to assessment, treatment, planning and evidence based practice?
We are seeking an experienced HP3 Physiotherapist to undertake a roles within the Allied Health team at Sunnybank Private Hospital. We are looking at a casual role in order to assist with both weekday service provision and for weekend work. This position is available immediately.
As a Physiotherapist your responsibilities will include:
- Provide comprehensive Physiotherapy services to varied diagnostic groups
- Assist with the treatment of acute inpatients of the medical, surgical and CCU wards or on the rehabilitation ward
- Maximise the performance of patients, adopting a client-centred and goal directed approach
- Participate in program development and quality improvement activities within the allied health department and hospital
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and professional development programs
- Providing support to other Physiotherapists and/or students

Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Excellent clinical practice skills
- Well-developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisation, time management and self-management skills
- Autonomy in work practice
- Current drivers licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork
Previous hospital experience is recommended. Applicants need to have skills with management of acute and subacute neurological, orthopaedic and reconditioning/restorative patients. ICU/CCU experience is favourable including the management of ventilated patients.
